With only a few episodes remaining in an already intense Season 5 of FXs popular crime drama Snowfall, fans have been hoping for an announcement of a Season 6 renewal. The new season begins in 1986, when a famous drug death leads to a huge crack and cocaine crackdown, just as Franklin's empire finally succeeds. On Wednesday, the story will pick up where it left off, with one of the biggest finales of 2021. The sprawling crime drama, co-created by Dave Andron, Eric Amadio and the late John Singleton, has consistently delivered a gripping chapter in the saga of drug kingpin Franklin Saint. Since its launch in July 2017, Snowfall has become one of the most-watched shows on television and one of FX's best drama series.

People who watch the series through Hulu will have to wait until the following Thursday to start watching the series on streaming.
